How do I find the right vehicle?
Use the search and filters by make, model, price, fuel and body type. The advanced search lets you narrow down further by canton and additional criteria.
What does the “OBD VERIFIED” badge mean?
It indicates that the vehicle data was read directly from the on-board electronics and checked by our partner TÜV NORD — an extra layer of protection against tampering.
Can I request a test drive?
Yes. On every listing page you can contact the seller or request a test drive directly — no registration required.

How do I post a listing?
Click “Post a listing”, enter the vehicle data and save the draft. Once it has been reviewed, you can publish the listing.
How much does a listing cost?
Private listings are free in the basic package. For dealers we offer tiered packages with additional reach.
What does “Roadworthy until” mean?
The date indicates how long the last roadworthiness test (MFK) remains valid. You can enter it when creating the listing — it builds trust with prospective buyers.
Account & security
Do I need an account to search?
No. Searching, filtering and contact requests all work without an account. With an account you can manage favourites and saved searches.
How does CARINDEX protect my data?
We host in Switzerland or the EU and comply with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG). You can find the details in our privacy policy.
